Backside Radio is a Berlin-based collective and streaming platform that seeks to revolutionize how people experience electronic music.

Founded in Italy, it quickly gained significance in the underground music scene. By broadcasting live podcasts twice a week from their studio in Neukölln, Backside Radio fosters a network for artists and enthusiasts who share a passion for underground electronic music. With over 100 diverse artists, they embrace all genres and subgenres, promoting inclusivity and the diversity of electronic music.

In addition to streaming, Backside Radio builds connections, collaboration, and talent discovery. It has become a meeting place for like-minded individuals to explore the forefront of the underground scene.

The journey of Backside Radio symbolizes commitment to pushing boundaries and artistic expression.

Paolo Tirelli and Giannis Kalomoiris are the individuals responsible for the management and ownership of Backside Radio. Giannis joined the project as a manager and director in October 2022, working alongside Paolo to manage and shape the innovative streaming platform in Berlin. Their project invites listeners to experience the magic and creativity of the underground while supporting diversity, community, and artistic freedom.
